Anyway, we got up early yesterday in Kentucky and had some breakfast with Hannah and Jason as well as Margot. They are people. We stayed with them and drank bourbon. Seriously though they were great hosts and showed us around the Wilmore area. We had great meals, talk, sleep, bike, swim and song.
Solomon's Porch in Wilmore provided us with a tastey breakfast which was very lengthy. Drove through Indiana some, Illinois some and Missouri a lot. Saw a lot of truck stops, corn fields, soy bean fields, fireworks stores and strip clubs along the way. As said by Micah: "Its like the same mile over and over again." Weirdly beautiful. Modern Americana. The rest stop at Skeeter Mtn. just after the border of Indiana/Illinois had the best vending machine pricing. Even had V8!! Gold of the road.

You are the travel bloggin' champion, Derek. I have written a strongly worded letter to Solomon's about the length, breadth, and depth of their breakfasts, and they have yet to respond. I think they're intimidated by my letterhead. I also used that thick paper. Solomon may suspect that the letter comes from my office, which it does.
Hope you are doing well. Tell Micah and Jon to have some great times. You? Just keep those meaty little fingers on the keyboard.
